Match Preview: Peterborough United (H)

Seasiders Back In Action At Bloomfield Road

12 April 2019

Blackpool host Peterborough United in an eagerly-anticipated clash at Bloomfield Road tomorrow, as both sides look to keep play-off hope

The Seasiders, who recorded a draw at league leaders Luton Town last time out, sit one place behind the visitors in eighth, knowing that a victory would take them level on points with Darren Ferguson's side.

However, Peterborough still hold a game in hand on many teams in the division, including sixth placed Doncaster Rovers.

Team News:

Blackpool continue to be in good shape, with Mark Howard, Jimmy Ryan and Max Clayton remaining the only absentees. Ollie Turton came through his return to action at Luton Town unscathed, while Nya Kirby will aim to retain his place in the side after netting his first senior goal at Kenilworth Road.

Peterborough can also boast plenty of options to choose from, with Joe Ward and Ben White expected to be available for selection again. Striker Matty Godden is pushing for a starting spot.
