Pick Your April Player of the Month

Select Your Winner From Three-Man Shortlist

29 April 2019

Three Blackpool players are now vying for your votes to be named the club's Player of the Month for April.

Below is a summary of the players in contention for the accolade:

Chris Mafoumbi:

The Congo international has had another strong month between the sticks for Blackpool, pulling off some vital saves in matches against Luton Town, Fleetwood Town and Scunthorpe United.

Matty Virtue:

Having won this award in March, Matty Virtue has continued in a similar vein of form. His energetic, box-to-box runs from midfield have added further quality to the engine room. He scored his third goal of the season against Luton Town and was unlucky to be denied another at Scunthorpe.

Nya Kirby:

April has been a key month in Nya Kirby's loan spell from Crystal Palace, with the attacking midfielder starting all five fixtures. He scored his first professional goal with a stunning volley against Luton and won the penalty that Jay Spearing tucked away against Fleetwood.

To register your vote for one of the above players, please click here. Voting closes at 5pm on Wednesday 1 May.

A lucky supporter who votes for the winner will also get the opportunity to present the prize to the recipient prior to kick-off on Saturday.
