Blackpool return to Sky Bet League One action by hosting Oxford United at Bloomfield Road tomorrow, kick-off 3pm.
The Seasiders, who sit top of the division following a winning start to the campaign, come up against an Oxford side that has taken four points from matches against Sunderland and Peterborough United.
Blackpool will wait on the fitness of skipper Jay Spearing (shoulder), who was forced off in the latter stages of Tuesday night's Carabao Cup tie against Macclesfield Town. Matty Virtue remains out.
Oxford United rested several players for their midweek cup fixture, so the likes of John Mousinho, Tariqe Fosu, Chris Cadden, James Henry and Jamie Mackie are all expected to return. Ex-Blackpool loan striker Dan Agyei could also make the squad having signed for the club from Burnley.
It was the visitors who edged the previous meeting at Bloomfield Road, winning 1-0 back in February. A free-kick from Jordan Graham secured the three points for The U's.
The Manager's Thoughts:
Darren Drysdale has been confirmed to referee the match. His last fixture at Bloomfield Road was the 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in January 2019.
