Blackpool and Fleetwood Town came together off the field today to make a surprise visit to ball boy Connor Turner.
The 16-year-old, who assists on matchdays at Bloomfield Road, was taken out of class to meet Nathan Delfouneso, Sullay Kaikai, Wes Burns and Lewie Coyle at St. George’s High School.
Right-back Coyle, on loan at Fleetwood from Leeds United, offered his apologies to Connor following an incident that occurred during the match between the two sides on Saturday and purchased a pair of boots for him.
Delfouneso and Kaikai, meanwhile, presented the boyhood Blackpool fan with a signed shirt to proudly display at home.
"I’m happy that it’s been sorted out," Connor said. "There’s no hard feelings at all. It’s a great surprise and I’d like to thank both Blackpool and Fleetwood for organising it."
