Blackpool make the 300 mile round trip to the Stadium of Light on Saturday, as we take on Sunderland in Sky Bet League One.
Blackpool come into the game in fourth position in the league table after last weekend’s victory over Fleetwood Town. Sunderland, meanwhile, sit in 11th – five points off the play-off places.
Last season’s play-off finalists have only won two of Phil Parkinson’s 12 matches in charge of the Black Cats, and are winless in their last seven matches in all competitions.
Sunderland will be without top scorer Aiden McGeady for the match. Charlie Wyke and Max Power are likely to return for the home side.
As for the Seasiders, there are no fresh injury concerns heading into the game. Ben Heneghan is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Fleetwood.
Ollie Yates will be the referee for tomorrow’s match. He last refereed a Blackpool game back in September in the 2-1 victory over Lincoln City.
Tickets can be purchased on the day (cash only), with adult entry available on turnstile 71 and concessions available from the Sunderland ticket office. Prices are as follows:
- £20 for adults
- £17 for Over-65’s
- £12 for Under-22’s
- £7 for Under-16’s.
