Blackpool make the 120 mile round trip to Prenton Park on Sunday to take on Tranmere Rovers, looking to revitalise the league campaign.
The Seasiders slipped to tenth in the Sky Bet League One table on Boxing Day, following a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Accrington Stanley. Despite sitting outside of the play-off places coming into Sunday’s match, a victory at Prenton Park could see Simon Grayson’s side go up to fifth in the table.
Sunday’s opponents lie in 20th position – just two points outside of the relegation zone. Micky Mellon’s side have only won one of their last six league matches and come into the fixture on the back of a 4-2 defeat at Burton Albion.
Jak Alnwick will miss the match due to an injury sustained in the defeat to Accrington. Sullay Kaikai, who was also substituted in the first half through injury, will continue to be monitored in the lead up to the game.
Tom Neild will be the man in charge of the match. He is yet to referee a Blackpool match this season.
All tickets must now be purchased on the day of the game. Tickets will be available from the Tranmere Club Store at Prenton Park from 10am, though a £3 price increase applies to all categories, bar under-12s.
Therefore, tickets will now cost:
- £22 for Adults
- £15 for Seniors (65+)
- £15 for Young Persons (18-22)
- £15 Disabled
- £9 for Under-18s
- £2 for Under-12s (Accompanied)
Supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid pre-kick-off queues.
