The Seasiders, who recorded a 2-1 win against The Addicks in December, head down south bouyed by a six-match unbeaten run in the divison.
The hosts, meanwhile, are without a victory in three outings, though two of those games have been draws against Southend United and Peteborough United.
Manager Terry McPhillips has revealed that a total of nine players could be sidelined for the trip. Marc Bola and Matty Virtue, both forced off with injury at Sunderland, join the likes of Jay Spearing and Jimmy Ryan in being ruled out.
Charlton are set to welcome striker Lyle Taylor back from suspension.
