Marc Bola, Ben Heneghan and Armand Gnanduillet are in contention to be named Blackpool's Player of the Month for December.
Though the month only yielded four league points, plus progress in the Emirates FA Cup, here's why the trio are up for the accolade:
Pool's overlapping full-back continues to provide a real presence to the Blackpool attack and assisted Joe Dodoo for a goal at home to Solihull Moors. The 21-year-old played a key role at both ends of the pitch in the club's better December performances.
The on-loan Sheffield United has grown in stature as the season has progressed and remained an ever present at the heart of the defence in December. His display at AFC Wimbledon was a particular stand-out.
Blackpool's top scorer took his tally for the season to nine goals with strikes against Charlton Athletic and Solihull Moors. However, it was his all-round play that stood out, working hard for his team-mates in both boxes and setting up Michael Nottingham for a goal at Rochdale.
