Second-half goals from Nathan Delfouneso and Adi Yussuf saw Blackpool record a 2-0 pre-season victory at near neighbours AFC Fylde.
Having found the net in a run out against Fylde last year, Delfouneso struck to break the deadlock in the 58th minute, nodding in to convert Sullay Kaikai’s cross.
It was then left to substitute Yussuf to wrap things up with a close-range finish 13 minutes later.
Backed by a strong away following, it was Blackpool who took the game to their opponents from the off. Ben Tollitt turned inside his man down the right before seeing his strike blocked off, while Nathan Delfouneso struck the side netting.
Defender Ryan Edwards was next to have a meaningful effort, heading over at the back post from a corner delivery.
From the hosts’ perspective, Danny Rowe tried his luck with two long-range free-kicks, though neither troubled Chris Mafoumbi in the Blackpool goal.
For all Blackpool’s dominance, shots on target were few and far between. A 25-yard strike from Nathan Delfouneso was the first that Fylde ‘keeper Dan Lavercombe was forced to claim.
Two minutes later, Delfouneso had a great opportunity to give Blackpool the lead, receiving the ball into feet before firing just wide on the turn.
Lavercombe in the Fylde goal then made a rash of coming for a cross, only to see his defenders get him out of trouble by clearing headers from Edwards and Delfouneso away from the line.

The Seasiders made four changes for the second-half, introducing Michael Nottingham, Callum Guy, Liam Feeney and Sullay Kaikai.
However, it was Fylde who started the stronger after the restart and went close to scoring through Callum Grogan, who saw his shot cannon back off the post before being claimed by Mafoumbi.
Just prior to the hour mark, Blackpool took the lead. Sullay Kaikai whipped a delicious ball into the box and Nathan Delfouneso was there to head it into the back of the net.
Both sides then made a raft of substitutions, with Fylde introducing two former Seasiders in Danny Philliskirk and Mark Yeates.
The latter went close to levelling for the hosts, sending an effort just past the far post. At the other end, Yusifu Ceesay came within inches of giving Blackpool a two-goal cushion.
That cushion soon came courtesy of Adi Yussuf, with the former Solihull man pouncing on a deflection to find the net from close range.
Ryan Croasdale was left unmarked to try and pull a goal back for Fylde with 10 minutes remaining, though Jack Sims saved his header comfortably. The young stopper then pushed a strike from Dan Bradley round the post, while Jordan Williams headed over the bar.
