Former Blackpool forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher has today announced his retirement from football.
On the day he celebrates his 38th birthday, the popular ex-Pool player took to Twitter to reveal that he was hanging up his boots and concentrating on the next stage of his career.
Signed from Huddersfield Town in 2007, Taylor-Fletcher spent six years at Bloomfield Road and was a big part of the Blackpool squad that achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2010.
He made 234 appearances in tangerine, scoring 38 goals, prior to joining Leicester City in 2013.
Thanks for the memories, Fletch. All the very best for the future.
