A reunion with former manager Gary Bowyer awaits this weekend, as Blackpool face Bradford City at Valley Parade.
The Seasiders' ex-boss, who guided the club to promotion from League Two and a top-half finish in League One, took the reins at Bradford earlier this month, tasked with keeping the club in the division.
But all sentiment with be put to one side, for 90 minutes at least, as both teams push for much-needed victories.
Blackpool head back out on the road determined to right the wrongs of an away defeat at Burton Albion, while Bradford lost out in dramatic circumstances at Oxford United last weekend.
Christoffer Mafoumbi is set to make his first start since late January after returning from international duty. The Congo stopper replaces Mark Howard between the sticks, who is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles. Marc Bola could start following his recent recovery from injury, while Curtis Tilt and Ollie Turton are also making progress. Jordan Thompson is away with Northern Ireland.
The Bantams will be without ex-Pool right-back Kelvin Mellor due to a knee injury, as well as Calum Woods. Sean Scannell could make his long-awaited return after a five-month absence with a stress fracture, while Jack Payne is set to start.
The Manager's View:
Antony Coggins will referee his first ever Blackpool game, having been confirmed to officiate the fixture at Valley Parade.
