Match Preview: Bristol Rovers (A)

Seasiders Set For Away Trip

1 March 2019

Despite an eagerly-anticipated home game on the horizon, Blackpool must overcome back-to-back away fixtures over the next few days, starting with a trip to Bristol Rovers tomorrow.

The Seasiders, hurting from a narrow defeat to Oxford United last weekend, will be aiming to bounce back immediately, as well as make amends for a loss to The Gas earlier this season.

The hosts, meanwhile, head into the fixture hoping to end a run of three games without victory.

Team News:

Jordan Thompson and Nathan Delfouneso are pushing for recalls to the starting line-up, while Matty Virtue has now returned to training. Former Bristol Rovers loanee Marc Bola misses the trip with a hamstring problem.

Bristol Rovers could welcome Chris Lines back from injury to give them a clean bill of health.
