Phillips Signs Up For Charity Game Against Rangers

Former Pool Striker Back At Bloomfield Road

Former Blackpool striker Kevin Phillips has been added to the list of names set to line-up in a charity match at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

The ex-England international, who scored 19 goals in 64 games for Blackpool, will join a Liverpool and Premier League select side that faces a host of Rangers legends. 

Another former Seasider, Barry Ferguson, takes his rightful place in the Rangers team alongside Michael Mols, Lee McCulloch, Pedro Mendes, Jorg Albertz and Alex Rae, who had a stint as assistant manager at Blackpool. 

Tickets for the match, which gets underway at 2pm, must now be purchased on the day of the game, with the ticket office open on Saturday from 9am until kick-off.  

Tickets are priced at: 

- £15 for Adults
- £10 for Children Aged 12 and Under

Funds raised from the fixture will benefit The Emmie Smillie Charity Foundation, Kilbryde Hospice and the Hillsborough and Ibrox Disaster Memorial Fund.
