Christoffer Mafoumbi has handed Blackpool a major boost by reporting back from international duty.
The stopper returned to Bloomfield Road for training earlier today and is now eligible to face Bradford City on Saturday.
"It's great news and he'll go straight in now," manager Terry McPhillips said. "He's done well for us before and kept clean sheets, so it's his chance again to show everybody what he can do."
The change between the sticks comes after Mark Howard ruptured his Achilles in Saturday's defeat at Burton Albion.
"We're really disappointed for Mark. I think he sees the specialist tomorrow and he's getting operated on," the manager confirmed.
"He's been the best goalkeeper in the league in my opinion and we now wish him all the best with his rehab."
