Jordan Thompson says the players are looking forward to welcoming back thousands of Blackpool fans to Bloomfield Road next week.
The appointment of a Court Appointed Receiver and new Board has resulted in a real burst of tangerine energy in recent days and a sense of excitement for what’s to come.
“You want as many fans here to try and watch and it’s been difficult for us that way, but as everybody is saying, most of the fans are going to be coming back. We’re looking forward to it,” he enthused.
In the meantime, the initial focus for the players is a fixture away to Bristol Rovers tomorrow and bouncing back from the disappointment of last Saturday’s defeat to Oxford United.
“It was a disappointing performance from us, a bad day at the office. We’re now going away to Bristol Rovers to go and get a positive result,” he said.
“We’re trying to push for the play-offs here and trying to nick a spot. We’re not far away, we just need to keep picking points up.”
