Blackpool take a break from league action tonight to face Carlisle United in the Leasing.com Trophy.
Victory in the fixture will see the Seasiders qualify for the next stage of the tournament with a game to spare.
Last time out the team recorded a 5-1 victory at home to Morecambe, while Carlisle lost 4-2 to Wolves' under-21s.
Sullay Kaikai and Joe Nuttell remain sidelined, though goalkeeper Mark Howard is expected to be part of the squad. Jordan Thompson and Rocky Bushiri once again miss out due to international commitments.
The Manager's Thoughts:
"There will be some changes but we’re a little bit restricted in terms of what we’ve got at the moment.
“We want to get back on the horse and get back to winning ways.”
Darren Handley will oversee proceedings at Brunton Park. He has officiated eight games so far this season and was last in charge of a Blackpool match in September 2017, when the Seasiders beat Oxford United 3-1 at Bloomfield Road.
Tickets can be purchased from the Pioneer ticket office at the stadium tonight, priced at:
- £10 for Adults
- £5 for Seniors (65+) and Young People (18-22)
- £5 for Juniors (11-17)
- £1 for Children aged 10 and Under
- Free for Children aged 6 and Under
Please note: supporters who have already purchased tickets for the fixture will now be located in Section 5 of the Pioneer Stand tonight, as opposed to the previously advised EWM Stand.
