The Big Preview: MK Dons (H)

Seasiders Back In Action At Bloomfield

13 September 2019

Blackpool will aim to bounce back with the right result when hosting MK Dons tomorrow.

The Seasiders, left smarting by a 3-2 defeat to Coventry City last weekend, are unbeaten at Bloomfield Roade soil and will want to push up the table again by extending that record.

The visitors arrive in search of their first away win of the season in the league, having lost out at Wycombe Wanderers and Accrington Stanley. Three points at home to AFC Wimbledon last time out made it nine points from a possible 18 since promotion.

Team News:

Nathan Delfouneso is the only player missing for Blackpool, with the forward having sustained a fresh hamstring injury at Coventry. Jordan Thompson and Rocky Bushiri return from international duty.

MK Dons are expected to be without defender Baily Cargill for the next month with an ankle injury, however Callum Brittain could be involved after returning to training.

Previous Meeting:

The two sides played out a goal-less draw when they last met, which came at Stadium:MK in March 2018. The meeting at Bloomfield Road prior to that ended in a 1-0 victory for Blackpool, with the winning goal coming courtesy of Sean Longstaff.
