Chris Maxwell made an immediate impact between the sticks for Blackpool prior to the current campaign being suspended.
Here he reveals a bit more about his interests and favourite things:
Who was your sporting hero growing up?
Peter Schmeichel and Fabian Barthez.
What’s the best bit of advice you’ve taken on board?
Enjoy every moment.
Do you have any pre-match superstitions?
No. I used to be superstitious but doing daft things doesn’t make any difference.
Favourite save you’ve made in your career so far?
The first penalty save in the shoot-out of the FA Trophy final for Wrexham.
Favourite moment so far this season?
Making that save in the last minute here against Ipswich Town and then seeing us go up the other end and score the winner.
Is there a save you’ve watched somebody make that you’d have loved to have made yourself?
Peter Schmeichel’s one against Rapid Vienna away. Everybody talks about Gordon Banks’ save against Brazil, but Schmeichel’s was a lot better. It’s the best save I’ve ever seen.
What would you have been if not a footballer?
An actor. I did acting in school.
What music do you like to listen to before a game?
I used to listen to AC/DC, Foo Fighters and a bit of Kanye West. I don’t listen to any music now before a game.
What is your favourite TV series?
What is your favourite film?
Lord of the Rings.
Alongside yourself, name another four players who would make up your ultimate five-aside team.
Jaap Stam, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Ronaldinho.
