Keshi Anderson feels the squad showed fantastic character in coming back from a goal down and conceding a late equaliser to then go on and claim all three points against Hull City.
The Seasiders secured a huge victory over the league leaders, courtesy of CJ Hamilton’s late strike after two fantastically crafted goals from Jerry Yates and Keshi Anderson earlier in the match.
“It was a great team performance considering the situation we were in at times in the game,” Anderson said.
“We were disappointed to go behind and to concede an equaliser so late on, but I think the boys responded so well in the game. I think we were deserved winners in scoring three well worked goals at good times."
The 25-year-old scored his second league goal for the Seasiders in the win, and admitted he is pleased to keep up his fine form since returning from injury.
“It’s always nice to get on the scoresheet personally, and I’m pleased to have had an effect on the game.
“We always look to win matches, and in playing at home we knew the pressure was on us to claim the win. I feel we dug deep for the full 90 minutes and were the deserved winners."
