Dan Ballard has admitted he is loving life at Blackpool and is learning with every game that passes.
The 21-year-old signed for the Seasiders on loan from boyhood Club Arsenal in the summer. The defender, who spent time on loan at Swindon Town last season before being recalled early due to injury, insists he is enjoying life in League One with Blackpool.
“I’ve probably learned the most here at Blackpool so far in my career,” he said.
“I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my career so far. That’s why I’ve come here on loan, to experience what the real football world is like. To get such a great opportunity here at Blackpool is something I’m forever thankful for. I’m just trying to put in as many positive performances here as possible, and learn as much as I can.”
With the short trip to Fleetwood Town coming up on Saturday, Ballard insists he and the rest of the Blackpool squad are looking to continue the good run of form they are currently in.
“We’re enjoying a good run of form at the moment and want that to continue for as long as possible,” he said.
“We’re all enjoying our football at the moment, so we’ll prepare the right way for the match against Fleetwood on Saturday and look to get the result we are all hoping for.”
