Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has described his dramatic last gasp winner over Bolton Wanderers as the best moment in his career to date.
The creative midfielder smashed the ball into the back of the net in added time on Tuesday night, after Bolton’s late equaliser looked to prove costly for the Seasiders.
Reflecting on his late winner, Dewsbury-Hall admits it was an important victory for the side.
“It was a fantastic feeling to win the match so late on like that,” he said.
“To score the decisive goal so late on like that, in front of all of the fans, was absolutely brilliant. The first touch set it up for me, and I just thought ‘I’m going to hit this as hard as I can,’ and thankfully it hit the roof of the net and went in.”
The duo of Dewsbury-Hall and Connor Ronan are proving to be an effective partnership in Blackpool's midfield and the on-loan Leicester man had admitted he enjoys playing alongside Ronan in the middle of the park.
“We’re on the same wavelength and it’s good to play alongside him and all the boys,” Dewsbury-Hall said.
“Connor’s goal was great, and I thought he had a great chance of scoring from distance.
I’m really enjoying playing in the team and to win in that fashion over Bolton was something really special.”
