David Dunn believes Blackpool have an incredible togetherness and desire to succeed, after another late winner on Saturday.
The Seasiders claimed back-to-back victories for the first time since November in a 2-1 win over Ipswich Town, with Joe Nuttall scoring the winner in the last 60 seconds of the match. This coming after the late victory over Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday evening, and David Dunn has praised the team’s spirit after the victory.
“To win the matches on Tuesday and on Saturday in the way that we have done is so special for the players and supporters,” Dunn said.
“The way they stick together, after the criticism they’ve had recently, is a real credit to them as a team and it’s really good to be a part of it.
“I thought the game as a whole was difficult, and that we’ve actually played better recently. The conditions, the way Ipswich played – it really put us on the back foot at times.
“Having said that, I’m delighted for the lads, in partular Joe Nuttall, to score the winner. He can bring a lot to the game, and I don’t think Blackpool fans have seen the best of him.
“Hopefully, that will give him so much more confidence and he can start repaying them with good performances and goals.”
