Blackpool Football Club’s Former Players Association met last week in the first of their bi-monthly get-togethers.
Former Seasiders including Derek Spence, Terry Alcock and Roy Whitehouse met at Bloomfield Road on Thursday, to share one another’s experiences at the football club and reminisce about their best moments playing in tangerine.
John Cross, Player Liaison Officer of Blackpool’s FPA said: “This is a great opportunity for our former players to meet up, away from a match day, to chat and reminisce about their time playing for the football club.
“It gives them a good opportunity to share memories of their time here at Blackpool, and we are hopeful it will continue to grow.”
The next get-together will take place in the 1953 Suite at Bloomfield Road on Thursday 26 March, 10am to 12noon, and former players of the Club are invited to attend.
