Blackpool are back on the road on Saturday with a trip to AFC Wimbledon in Sky Bet League One.
Both sides come into Saturday’s game in the bottom half of the table. Blackpool lie in 16th place whereas Wimbledon sit in 20th – one place and seven points above the drop zone. The same number of points separate both Blackpool and the Dons, although the Seasiders do have two games in hand over Saturday’s opponents.
The Dons will be looking to bounce back from their last result – a 5-0 drubbing at Oxford United on Tuesday evening, where manager Glyn Hodges admitted his side let their travelling supporters down.
Saturday’s match is the start of a big week for the Seasiders, who have a great opportunity to put recent results behind them with three matches in the space of a week. Interim manager, David Dunn, is in optimistic mood ahead of the trip to Kingsmeadow after a much improved performance in the narrow defeat at Bristol Rovers last weekend.
If you aren't making the trip to Wimbledon, we will have full coverage and reaction on Blackpoolfc.co.uk as well as on our official social media channels and iFollow channel.
Captain Jay Spearing is in contention for an immediate return to the starting XI, after missing the match at Bristol Rovers through concussion regulations.
Armand Gnanduillet and Gary Madine are being monitored ahead of the match, with Ben Heneghan ruled out through suspension after receiving a straight red card last weekend.
The hosts will welcome Callum Reilly back from injury for the match. Paul Kalambayi and Anthony Wordsworth are not yet deemed ready for first-team returns.
Mr Neil Hare will be the referee for the match at Kingsmeadow.
