Marc Bola is delighted to be back at Bloomfield Road and can’t wait to get going again.
The 22-year-old returned on loan for the remainder of the season from Middlesbrough on Friday afternoon, following his permanent move up to the north-east during the summer.
Bola has expressed his delight at being back at Blackpool, and is looking forward to getting as much game time as possible.
“It was an easy decision when I knew the club were interested in bringing me back,” Bola said.
“The club were good to me before and I know the club inside out. I really enjoyed my time here last season and can’t wait to start and do my best for the team.
“For me, the most important thing is to be playing football. If I’m doing that, and helping the team win matches, then that’s ideal.”
Bola returns with plenty of competition down the left-hand-side of the defence, with Calum Macdonald and James Husband both left-backs by trade, and he is aware it won’t be easy to go straight back into the side.
“It won’t be easy and I need to work hard for my place in the team,” he said.
“That’s part of the challenge in football, and I’m looking forward to what lies ahead.”
