Marc Bola won’t be resting on his laurels now that’s returned to Blackpool, as he aims to continually develop as a player.
The left-back, who made his second debut for the Seasiders last weekend, is determined to build on his previous Player of the Season status in tangerine.
“There’s always space to improve. Those awards are now in the past and my focus now is to improve and play even better,” Bola insisted.
“It’s good to be back here. I know the club, I know the lads and also some of the new boys coming in.
“Since the start of the season, I’ve still been on Twitter looking at the scores and keeping in touch with the lads. I’ve always got Blackpool in my thoughts.”
Bola, who turned 22 last month, has played seven games in the Championship with parent side Middlesbrough this season and hopes to firmly reach that standard again with his performances for Pool.
“I’d just say that the transition was a bit difficult,” he said of his summer move. “I’ve still got years on my contract and it’s about coming out on loan and playing games again. I’ll then return to Middlesbrough in pre-season and see where we are.”
