Simon Grayson says Blackpool moved swiftly to re-sign Marc Bola after being alerted of his availability from Middlesbrough.
The defender, who worked briefly under the manager in the summer, returned to Bloomfield Road on a loan deal yesterday, to the delight of everybody at the Club.
“Marc obviously left the Club in the summer to pursue the opportunity of playing in the Championship,” Grayson explained.
“When the opportunity came to bring him back, we jumped at the chance. He’s a popular member of the dressing room who will enhance the squad and give us more quality.”
Though he will be unavailable to face Reading in the Emirates FA Cup third round replay on Tuesday night, Bola could make his second Blackpool debut at Lincoln City next weekend.
