Lincoln City will be another tough test for the Seasiders this weekend, as Simon Grayson’s side return to their travels and head to the in-form Imps in Sky Bet League One.
Lincoln boast an impressive young squad, who have found their goalscoring form in recent weeks, scoring 14 goals in their last five matches.
Tyler Walker is the main man for the Imps, having scored an impressive 15 league goals so far this season. The 23-year-old forward is on loan from Championship side Nottingham Forest, and has proved a real thorn in many opposition sides so far this campaign.
Blackpool will be looking to do the double over Lincoln, having secured a narrow 2-1 victory in Michael Appleton’s first game in charge of the Imps back in September. Sean Scannell and Jordan Thompson gave the Seasiders a 2-0 lead, before Jack Payne halved the deficit for Lincoln.

Manager: Michael Appleton
Former ‘Pool manager, Appleton, has had a mixed bag of results since taking over from Danny Cowley in late September. Before Saturday’s tie, he has won seven of his 20 matches in charge, five of them coming in the last nine game.
Lincoln is the fifth club Appleton has taken the reigns of, having managed Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and Oxford United, as well as Blackpool.
His time at Blackpool was short-lived, lasting just 65 days at the helm before taking over at Blackburn Rovers back in 2013.
Star Man: Tyler Walker
Tyler Walker is on a season-long-loan at Sincil Bank from Nottingham Forest. The 23-year-old forward is enjoying a successful season at the club having scored 16 goals in all competitions so far – including six goals in his last five matches.
He has enjoyed loan spells at the likes Burton Albion, Bolton Wanderers and Mansfield Town, scoring an impressive 26 goals for the Stags last season.
Familiar Face: Neal Eardley
Neal Eardley was a key component of the famous Blackpool side to grace the Premier League in the 2010/11 season. Signed from Oldham Athletic in August 2009, Eardley would go on to make 94 appearances in tangerine across a four year period. He made 31 appearances in the Premier League with Blackpool, before moving onto pastures new in 2013 to join Birmingham City. The 31-year-old full-back signed for Lincoln in 2017 and has already made over 100 appearances for the Imps.
