Blackpool entertain Reading in an Emirates FA Cup Third Round Replay on Tuesday, in what is the Seasiders first home match of 2020.
Following the 2-2 draw at the Madejski Stadium ten days ago, tonight’s replay is needed to decide who goes through to the fourth round of the competition. The eventual winner will face either Championship side Cardiff City or League Two’s Carlisle United at home on the 25 January, who both play their replay on Wednesday evening.
Reading come into the game on the back of a 1-1 home draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, courtesy of a 98th minute equaliser. Blackpool, meanwhile, have had an extended break having not played since the match at the Madejski Stadium on 4 January.
