Neil Critchley has revealed he is pleased and thankful with the early business Blackpool have done, and feels the Club is continuing to move in the right direction.
The Head Coach has brought in five new additions this summer with Keshi Anderson, Marvin Ekpiteta, Oliver Sarkic, Jerry Yates and CJ Hamilton all joining the football club.
Reflecting on the additions to his squad, Critchley feels there is already a real strength to the side and is optimistic for what’s to come this season.
“All of the players we’ve brought in are all buying in to what we want to do at this football club.,” he said.
“When any new coach comes in, they always look to put their stamp on the team. In the difficult circumstances we are all in at the moment, we’ve been able to capture some fantastic players and I couldn’t be more thankful to Simon Sadler and the Board for the support they’ve given me and my staff.
“I think we’re bringing in the right players. Players who are on the up and want to be here, which for me are really important factors.”
Alongside the new additions to the squad, the football club recently revealed the new home matchday shirt, designed by PUMA, as well as improvements to the training ground at Squires Gate.
“You look at the Club and where we are at the moment, and there is a real feel good factor around the place,” Critchley explained.
“Planning ahead is crucial and the time we’ve had during lockdown has given us the opportunity to focus on where we want to be in six months and 12 months time. I feel we’ve got a great project in place here, and I’m pleased with where we’re at and our vision for the future.
“We want the good feeling around the place to continue, and we’re all working hard to ensure that it does.”
