David Dunn has left his position at Blackpool Football Club to take up the role as manager of newly promoted League Two side Barrow AFC.
Dunn joined the Seasiders as first-team coach in January, forming part of the backroom staff at Bloomfield Road.
The 40-year-old then enjoyed a spell in caretaker charge the following month, where he guided the Seasiders to two victories and a draw in four matches.
Chief Executive Ben Mansford said:
“We will always be thankful to David for stepping up on an interim basis in February, where he demonstrated real professionalism in turning results around in such a short space of time.
“It’s been a pleasure working with and getting to know him, and he leaves us with our very best wishes for the future.”
