Taylor Moore believes Blackpool can take a lot from the 0-0 draw at Fleetwood Town.
The Seasiders impressed for large parts of the match at Highbury, with Nathan Delfouneso and Matty Virtue having good opportunities to find the back of the net in the first half.
Reflecting on the draw and their overall perfomance, Taylor Moore was happy with how the team played throughout the match.
"It was a good point and ultimately good to get the clean sheet," he said.
"I think we had good opportunities to score, but sometimes it just doesn't fall for you. Defensively, we were really solid and it's good that we've managed to keep the clean sheet. As defenders, that's always pleasing to have after the match."
The match with Fleetwood was the first under Neil Critchley, and Moore feels there's been real improvement in the squad after just a few days of training under the new Head Coach.
"You can see how he wants to play and after just a few training sessions, he's really worked with us on implementing his game plan," Moore said.
"He wants to play on the front foot and excite the fans, which is something we want to do. Lots of younger players have developed well under him and I think we can all learn a lot. We're looking forward to see what happens between now and the end of the season, and we're excited to be back in front of the home supporters on Tuesday evening."
