Blackpool slipped to a narrow defeat in a 2-1 loss to Tranmere Rovers.
The Seasiders found themselves 2-0 down at half time, with goals from Morgan Ferrier and James Vaughan giving the visitors the lead at the break.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's third goal in as many home games gave the Seasiders hope, but the hosts just couldn't find that crucial equaliser, despite dominating for large parts of the match.
With five minutes gone, Chris Maxwell was called into action to palm away a great first time cross from Tranmere’s Alex Woodyard before Morgan Ferrier could reach it.
With 20 minutes on the clock, Nathan Delfouneso squandered a golden opportunity with a header. A cross on the right-hand-side from Liam Feeney was met well from Delfouneso, who leaped above everyone else, with his header glancing the top of the crossbar.
Liam Feeney then tried his luck for the Seasiders just after 30 minutes with a curling effort from distance, but it when wide of Davies’ goal.
With ten minutes of the first half remaining, Tranmere took the lead. A curling ball in from the left from Calum Woods was met by Morgan Ferrier, who headed at goal and found the bottom corner of Chris Maxwell’s goal.
With half time looming, Tranmere delivered a sucker-punch to double their lead. James Vaughan firing in an effort from distance, which came off the far post and over the line.

Neil Critchley made two changes at half-time. Matty Virtue, who was on a yellow card, was replaced with Jay Spearing and Armand Gnanduillet came on for Joe Nuttall.
Blackpool were pushing for a way back into the game from the off and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall sparked the Seasiders into life on 58 minutes with an almighty 25 yard strike.
The midfielder took aim with his left foot and rifled a shot into the corner to half the deficit.
With time ticking, Blackpool were dominating throughout to find that elusive equualiser. A deep ball was whipped in by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall which was met from Taylor Moore at the back post, but his header across goal was held by Davies in the Tranmere goal.
Blackpool just couldn't find that equaliser, despite their best efforts, and were condemned to a first defeat in five matches.
