Tranmere Rovers are the visitors to Bloomfield Road this evening in Sky Bet League One.
The match will be Neil Critchley's first home game in charge since his appointment as Head Coach last week.
The Seasiders will be looking to make it five matches without defeat, having not lost since the trip to Bristol Rovers in mid February. Two victories and two draws since then have seen Blackpool sit in 13th position in the table with 11 matches remaining.
In contrast, Tranmere are deep in a relegation battle sitting in 21st place, and are six points adrift of safety. Having said that, Mickey Mellon's side do have two games in hand over their relegation rivals and will be in buoyant mood ahead of this evening's match after winning their last two matches - both away at Shrewsbury Town and Accrington Stanley, respectively.
Blackpool and Tranmere last met in the final fixture of 2019 in a 1-1 draw at Prenton Park in December. Ben Heneghan scored for the Seasiders before his goal was cancelled out by Tranmere striker, Morgan Ferrier.
