Left-Back Reveals Some Favourite Things and Interests

Back for a second spell at Blackpool, Marc Bola featured six times for the Seasiders prior to the enforced break.

A January loan arrival from Middlesbrough, here he reveals more about himself, including some of his favourite things. 

Who was your sporting hero growing up?

Michael Jordan. He dedicated himself to basketball and performed at the highest level for years.

What’s the best bit of advice you’ve taken on board?

Stay in your own lane and don’t watch anybody. Your time will come.

Do you have any pre-match superstitions?

Not really. I pray every morning when I wake up and on the pitch before kick-off.  

Favourite goal you’ve scored in your career so far? 

The one when I did that Pele run for Blackpool against AFC Wimbledon last season.

What would you have been if not a footballer?

A tennis player. I just can’t serve.

What music do you like to listen to before a game?

What is your favourite TV series?

At the moment, I’d say Law and Order. Of all time, I’d say Fresh Prince. 

What is your favourite film?

London has Fallen.
