Neil Critchley has provided updates to the injuries of Matty Virtue, Keshi Anderson and Luke Garbutt, with the Head Coach hopeful that the trio can return to action over the coming weeks.
Blackpool’s Head Coach confirmed that the club are awaiting on results of a scan on the extent of Matty Virtue’s injury, with the midfielder eyeing a potential return to action soon after penning a new contract with the Seasiders last week.
“Matty Virtue has gone for a scan today, so hopefully there’s some good news with that.
“There were no injuries reported from the game on Saturday. It’s always a bonus to win, keep a clean sheet and have no injury problems.”
Critchley also provided an update on Garbutt and Anderson, confirming that the latter has returned to light training on the pitch.
“Keshi (Anderson) started training on the pitch at the back end of last week. Luke Garbutt is a bit behind the others.
“Hopefully in the next few weeks those players can make progress and return to training and helping the squad in a busy period of games for us.”
