Match Preview: Burton Albion (A)

Blackpool Visit Burton Albion on Saturday

30 October 2020

Blackpool will be hoping to claim their first away win of the campaign as they travel to bottom of the table Burton Albion on Saturday.

The Seasiders will be hoping to put their recent defeat behind them, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.

Burton Albion will be searching for their second win of the campaign, after their 2-2 draw against Peterborough United was their seventh league outing without a victory.

Kane Hemmings’ double earned a hard-fought point on the road for Jake Buxton’s side, with the striker scoring his fourth goal in four games to halt the hosts’ five game winning streak.

Neil Critchley:

“They had a very good result on Tuesday against Peterborough. They’ve got players who have a lot of experience and know how to play in this division.

“They’re a hard team to play against. They’ve got good spirit and organisation and we’re expecting nothing but a tough game.”

Team News:

James Husband is available for selection after serving his suspension. Neil Critchley has confirmed that Matty Virtue, Keshi Anderson and Luke Garbutt will not be available, with the trio still ruled out with injuries.
