Dan Ballard will return to Blackpool this week after missing the past two matches whilst on international duty with Northern Ireland.
The defender made two appearances for the Green and White Army in matches against the USA and Bulgaria, playing over an hour against the latter on Wednesday evening.
Ballard will now return to Neil Critchley’s squad ahead of Easter Weekend’s double header against Swindon Town and Gillingham.
“Daniel has played well in the two matches he has been involved in,” Critchley said.
“He played against the USA on Sunday and against Bulgaria in a World Cup qualifier on Wednesday. I watched both matches and thought he acquitted himself really well. He seems to have come through the matches unscathed, and we’ll assess him when we see him before we travel down to Swindon.
“If he’s played on Sunday and then on Wednesday, I think it will be a big ask for him to go into a game on Friday. That’s a decision we’re going to need to make once we’ve spoken to him to see how he’s come through the matches.”
