Neil Critchley felt his side deserved more than a point to show for their efforts in the 2-2 draw at Lincoln.
The Seasiders were cruising at 2-0 in the second half, and had chances to extend their lead further. But, a second half fightback from the hosts meant Blackpool were left to settle for a point at Sincil Bank.
“I thought we were in control and played very well, so it’s disappointing to only come away from the game with a point,” Critchley said.
“We played very well and were deservedly 2-0 up. We had more chances and should have seen the game off from there.
“I’ve got to say that I’m not disappointed in the performance. To come away from home and be much the better team for large parts of the game is a really good effort, but we didn’t defend two moments well enough, and we ultimately got punished for that.
“Having said that, the unbeaten run is still intact and it’s another point on the board, which is really good. We have another important game on Tuesday night at home against Accrington, and we know what they’re about. It will be a tough game and we have to be ready for what’s to come.”
