Chris Maxwell feels the side were impressive for the majority of the match against Lincoln, and didn’t get what they deserved in the 2-2 draw at Sincil Bank.
A goal apiece from Ellis Simms and Sullay Kaikai put the Seasiders two up, but a late second half fightback from the hosts meant Blackpool walked away with just a point to show for their efforts.
“I think we were excellent throughout the game and created various chances,” the captain said.
“There was some excellent play both with and without the ball, and I think we’ve improved even further in that respect over the past four-five weeks.
“We’re playing well on a consistent basis, and although we conceded two late goals against Lincoln, both defensively and going forward we have looked really sharp in recent weeks.
"They were two really good strikes from Ellis Simms and Sullay Kaikai, and we had even more chances to extend our lead further in the game, but we just couldn’t take them.
“That’s football at times. We haven’t been beaten, it’s another point to add to the board at a tough place like Lincoln, and we’ll move on to Tuesday night against Accrington.”
