Chris Maxwell's late penalty save kept Blackpool's unbeaten run intact, in a tight 0-0 draw with Accrington at Bloomfield Road.
The Blackpool skipper saved Colby Bishop's 88th minute penalty, in a match where Blackpool did everything but put the ball over the line.
Sullay Kaikai had a good opportunity to make it 1-0 on ten minutes. Some great link-up play between Kaikai and Ellis Simms allowed Kaikai the space to have a shot on goal from the edge of the area, but Toby Savin was equal to it in the Accy goal.
Grant Ward then tried his luck from range five minutes later, with his powerful drive saved by Savin.
In a half which offered few chances for either side, Accrington did have the ball in the back of the net in added time following a scrappy corner kick. The ball bounced around and was stuck into the net by Dion Charles, but the linesman gave offside.

Kaikai, who was totally unmarked at the back post, shot at goal, but Saving made an incredible save to his right to palm it away. The ball came back to Kaikai, who’s first time effort went over.
In what was proving to be a tight match, Accrington had a penalty claim waved away after Dion Charles went down in the penalty area following a corner kick. The Accy man went down under a challenge after contestinf for the loose ball, but the referee turned down the claims.
At the other end, Luke Garbutt smacked the post with a great effort from distance, but his effort bounced clear of Savin’s post.
With just five minutes remaining, Accrington were awarded a penalty after Sean McConville collided with a Blackpool man in the box. Up stepped Colby Bishop, who smashed it down the middle, but Chris Maxwell was there to block the ball and deny Accrington a certain winner, with the match ending goalless.
