Kevin Stewart is pleased to be a matter of matches away from being back in the mix, and hopes to help the side push on for the final few games of the season.
The midfielder has been missing since mid-March with an ankle injury, but is nearing a return for the end of season run-in.
“I’m really excited to get playing again and looking forward to my return,” he said.
“I’ve been unlucky with this injury, as I thought I was doing well since I joined the Club, so it was frustrating, but that’s football. I’ve been out for longer in my career than these six weeks, so it hasn’t been too tough, just frustrating.
“With myself and a few of the other boys hopefully close to a return for the final few games, that can be a major boost to the team. It gives the Head Coach more options to choose from, which can be a real help at the back end of the season.
“Players can tire towards the end of the campaign, so to have a few of the boys back can be a major boost for us as we look to push on for the final few matches.”
