Neil Critchley expects to have Matty Virtue back training ahead of Saturday's home game against Peterborough United.
The midfielder would have missed out on selection had the Seasiders faced Burton Albion in midweek, however he has now sufficently recovered from the dead leg sustained last weekend at Ipswich.
There's also good news on the availability of another central midfield option.
"We'd expect Matty to be back training and Ethan Robson as well," Critchley confirmed. "They will be welcome additions back to the squad.
"Obviously with not playing the other night, certain other players can just rest and brush down some of the knocks and bruises they've had and be ready to go against Peterborough."
