Neil Critchley has revealed that CJ Hamilton and Daniel Grétarsson are stepping up their recoveries from injury, having been sidelined since December and January, respectively.
The pair are progressing well with their rehab schedules and will hopefully be training with the rest of the squad again soon.
“CJ has been back out on the grass now for a few weeks. He’s been going fine so hopefully he can keep stepping up where he is and be able to integrate back into training at some point,” Critchley said.
“Daniel Grétarsson will also be back out on the grass this week. He’ll start to do some running, which will be great for him.”
Neither player will be available for the Seasiders immediate fixtures, while Gary Madine is expected to remain on the sidelines for the visit of Rochdale.
“Gary is getting closer, but probably not quite ready for Tuesday night, plus Keshi Anderson has been back in the building and it has been great to see his face again and have him around the training ground. He’s obviously not going to be ready for a little period yet, that’s for certain.
“Of the four, Gary is going to be the closest one, but we’re getting closer to getting some good news on the other ones as well.”
