Neil Critchley was pleased with the fourth round draw of the Emirates FA Cup, with Blackpool set for a trip to Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Seasiders will travel to the south-coast on the weekend of 23-24 January for the clash, and the Blackpool Head Coach believes it presents a great opportunity for his side to pit themselves against another Premier League side.
“It’s a great draw and a game we can all look forward to,” he said.
“We know it’s going to be a tough ask to travel to a Premier League side and get a good result, but we gave a really good account of ourselves against West Brom on Saturday, so who’s to say we can’t do it again?
“When you play against top quality opposition, you know you’re going to get tested in all aspects of the game. The match against Brighton will certainly be no different.
“It presents a magnificent opportunity for us, and we’ll look to grasp it with both hands when the tie comes around.”
