Neil Critchley is expecting a tightly-contested match on Saturday, as Fleetwood Town visit Bloomfield Road in Sky Bet League One this weekend.
Both sides come into the fixture in good form, with Blackpool unbeaten in six matches whereas Fleetwood have won their last three matches on the spin.
With this week marking a full year since supporters were last able to attend a match, Critchley knows Bloomfield Road would have been in fine voice this weekend.
“I always have that visual picture in my head of my first game in charge which was away at Fleetwood in March last year," he said.
"Our supporters packed the away end and were in full voice all the way through for the 90 minutes.
“With us being at home this weekend, I’m sure it would have been a fantastic atmosphere. We’ve had a good home record lately, but we obviously would have liked the results to have been slightly better in the past two matches.
"Those kind of situations are instances where the players would have pulled on the strength of the supporters in the stadium, which can then give you that extra 2% when you need it most.
“The fans can make a real difference over the course of the season, and we are really missing them. We’ll make sure at 3pm on Saturday, our players will give everything for the supporters.”
