CJ Hamilton Set For Surgery

CJ Hamilton is set for a spell on the sidelines after scans confirmed an ongoing problem with his foot.

The winger, who broke his fifth metatarsal in March, requires further surgery to remove a screw that has been causing significant pain and discomfort.

Due to this development, the 26-year-old has been left off Blackpool’s initial squad list submitted to the EFL.

Gary Madine, who continues his rehabilitation and return to fitness following surgery in the off-season, is also an absentee.

Both players can, however, subject to EFL approval, be added to the 25-man squad at any stage during the season.
