Critchley: A Good Opportunity
Neil Critchley is pleased that the current international break will allow time to assess some of his injured players, after Saturday's hard-fought win over Blackburn Rovers.
The Seasiders go into the two week break with three victories from their last four matches. Despite a welcome break to the usual schedule of matches, Blackpool's Head Coach has mixed feelings, given their current run of form.
"We have really good momentum at the moment and we're winning matches, so we wouldn't mind another game, but it gives us a good opportunity to reflect on the past few weeks and prepare for a busy period when we return," he said.
"It will also give us a chance to assess the players who are currently out injured, including the lads who picked up injuries in Saturday's win. We'll look for a mid-week match, where we can give game-time to some of the lads who maybe haven't been involved as much in recent weeks.
"We'll then give the lads a bit of a breather ahead of a full weeks worth of training heading into the Nottingham Forest game."
