Critchley: Husband and Anderson Out For Period of Time
Neil Critchley has confirmed that James Husband and Keshi Anderson are to spend a period of time on the sidelines with injury.
The pair both sustained hamstring problems in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend and will now go through the recovery process.
“It’s not great news if I’m honest, they’ll be out for quite a period of time,” Blackpool’s Head Coach revealed.
“It’s a blow for us because they’ve been mainstays in our team this season, both of them. It disrupted us a little bit last week, but it’s something that we’re used to and it’s something that we got on with and coped well with last year. Hopefully that will be no different this year.”
No immediate timescale for a return has been publicly set for either player, given that hamstring issues need to closely monitored.
“You have to be careful with those types of injuries. I know both players will be desperate to come back and contribute in the second half of the season, but we have to make sure that when they do and when they’re ready, they are 100 per cent ready,” Critchley added.
