Critchley: They're The In-Form Side
Neil Critchley is expecting another strong test for his side, as Blackpool travel to Reading on Wednesday evening in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Seasiders head to the Madejski Stadium on the back of their first defeat in five matches at the weekend in a narrow loss at Nottingham Forest, and the Blackpool Head Coach is expecting Reading to be just as resolute, given their recent run of form.
"They're an in-form side, and probably the in-form side in the division at the moment," he said.
"I've spoken before about the timing of fixtures, and when you come up against different sides. It was similar to Nottingham Forest last weekend, where they're a different proposition now to what they were a few weeks ago.
"Reading are in the same boat really. They had a difficult start to the season, but have now picked up their form and are winning games. They've won five out of their last six, so they're going to be a real threat.
"They're not conceding many and maybe not scoring many, but they're resolute and are winning matches. They're got good experienced players at this level and are a very technical team. I know some of the players they have, and they can hurt you on their day, so we know its going to be a tough game.
"We went to another tough place in Nottingham Forest at the weekend, and we were always well in that game. If we can just improve on one or two little things and get a bit of a run of the green, then we're more than capable of bringing something back."
